The Teacher's Guide and Resource Book
The Foreword to the Teacher's Guide and Resource Book contains a detailed exposition of the pedagogical foundation of the course. It addresses such questions as the use of the Text and the Laboratory, the use of Notebooks, group and individual work. A list of equipment and supplies is also provided.
For each of the twelve chapters, the Guide provides a general overview and suggested schedule followed by a detailed discussion of each section. For each experiment, the Guide provides clear suggestions for the preparations needed to be made by the teacher, and sample data obtained by students during the field testing.
Section questions and end-of-chapter questions are answered in detail to help teachers develop their students' problem-solving skills.
